Whole heatedly oppose this to the point i would probably take arms against any institution that did this. The idea itself is evil and insidious, God willingly this evil never comes to pass.

I would love to say that I enjoyed your article but it was so disturbing it took me almost a week to get through it. What I found worth praising our Lord for was that you ended with giving the Gospel & reminding us all that “but for the grace of God,” we could all be in their shoes. Just more evidence of the depravity of man & this world.

I wonder if the “academic” article had discussed the arguments for the “abortion” of an ethnic or religious group would it still have been a “proper academic discussion” and would vehement disagreement have been seen as a threat to “freedom” “from fanatics opposed to the very values of a liberal society.”?
Of course there is nothing new in the idea, children were offered as sacrifices, the male babies were ordered by Pharoah to be killed as were the children aged under two by Herod. The fact that it has been done before only highlights that it can happen again. Indeed there was a time when to argue for “abortion” of prebirth children would have been seen as abhorant. Public attitudes were slowly altered, articles like this one may yet serve the same purpose.
Why do people who are like us say and sometimes do such terrible things? As Daniel has said we are all sinners. “The heart is ……. desparatly wicked”.
When we oppose terrible error, it is to call people to repentence and faith. That is their only hope. We need to see a return to true gospel preaching.

satan isn’t satisfied with killing the unborn- now, he wants the already born. And the blind bats keep blaming God for wiping out Sodom and Gomorrah and judging ancient Rome for bloodletting such as this? Amazing!
